Literature Text

ReRWBY Chapter 13: An act of faith
ReRWBY Chapter 13: An Act Of Faith Pyrrha was simply going through the motions. Through her eyes, her opponent’s movements were being broken down into mere patterns and sequences; many of which were very familiar to her. Before she could even process the nature of each attack, her body was already instinctively reacting through sheer muscle memory. It had been a long, long time since Pyrrha had last found a battle thrilling or exciting. As she fought in the small arena, the young warrior felt lost in a daze. Whenever she brandished a weapon, fragments of the past crept their way into her mind from the edges of her subconscious in a way that made her feel ill. However, Pyrrha pressured herself to dismiss her inner turmoil and focus on delivering a good battle; anything else would have been an insult toward her adversary. Taking in a deep breath, the redhead tried to regain her composure, though anyone looking from the outside wouldn’t have noticed she ever lost it in the first place.

Death at the Doorstep
Death has now come to your doorstep Every bomb a knock-knock-knock on your door The grim visage of the skull keeps inching ever closer; yet if feels as though he is breathing down my neck as well. Hearts beating to the rhythm of the war drums, bodies falling in line to serve their purpose; Pieces being moved on the chessboard by unseen hands with hidden motives. The wall you built for protection, a monument to silence Turns to barbed wire that cuts into your flesh As it does into mine, sweet darling; and so the two of us bleed in unison. Already I can hear the reaper: Knock. Knock. Knock. And I wonder when he will arrive at my doorstep. Run, my love. Run swift as the wind, run - run as if your live depends on it, because it does. RUN.

An unusual friend.
I'm Anna, I was orphaned at birth and never found my place in foster care so I was left alone, when I was old enough to leave the orphanage I went off to college, that's where I met my dorm roommate, she's Elizabeth but all her family and even she prefers to be called Lizy. She is different from any other girl I have ever met and over time she has become my best friend, in fact she is my only friend. I soon realised that she is not ordinary, when I realised that she is a reserved person outside the dormitory but as soon as we are alone she is completely different, she soon confessed that she had magical powers and that all her family had them too, hence the tattoos on her arms, she has tattoos all over her arms but she hides them with clothes. They are tribal tattoos with ancient writings, their purpose is to grant magic, which will grow with time. So at first I thought she was an oddball but she soon made me realise that this was not the case. Life at the university was not easy, but
